El Jardín Botánico de la Universidad de Valencia es un lugar de ciencia, cultura y naturaleza. (The Botanical Garden of the University of Valencia is a place of science, culture, and nature.)
Es un sitio para conocer plantas y disfrutar del tiempo libre en el centro de la ciudad. (It is a place to learn about plants and enjoy free time in the city center.)
Está en un terreno antiguo llamado huerto de Tramoyeres desde el año 1802. (It is on an old piece of land called the Tramoyeres orchard since the year 1802.)
En 2006, lo declararon Bien de Interés Cultural. (In 2006, it was declared a Property of Cultural Interest.)
El jardín tiene 45.000 metros cuadrados y más de 4.000 plantas diferentes. (The garden covers 45,000 square meters and has more than 4,000 different plants.)
Las plantas están ordenadas en grupos para estudiarlas mejor. (The plants are arranged in groups to better study them.)
El jardín tiene un herbario y una biblioteca. (The garden has a herbarium and a library.)
