En los años 90 y al principio del siglo XX los cibercafés eran muy importantes en España. La gente iba para usar un ordenador, consultar algo en internet o descargar documentos. Antes de esto la gente se había abierto una cuenta con un nombre de usuario y una contraseña. Era algo muy bueno pero también peligroso porque el internet no siempre era seguro. En los cibercafés se podía intercambiar imágenes y consultar información. Tener conexión a internet en casa no era lo normal entonces la gente iba a estos lugares.

In the 90s and at the beginning of the 20th century, cybercafés were very important in Spain. People went there to use a computer, look up something on the internet, or download documents. Before this, people had opened an account with a username and a password. It was something very good but also dangerous because the internet was not always safe. In the cybercafés, one could exchange images and look up information. Having an internet connection at home was not the norm, so people went to these places.
