Exercise 1: Text

L'Assemblée nationale a une architecture particulière où certaines formes y sont cachées.

The National Assembly has a distinctive architecture where certain shapes are hidden.

L'Assemblée nationale française est à Paris. Le bâtiment est construit au 18ème siècle et rassemble différentes formes. 
Devant, on peut voir des cylindres en pierres, on appelle ça des colonnes. 
Derrière les colonnes, il y a le bâtiment principale qui est rectangle. 
Le toit est en forme de pyramide. C'est un triangle qui a le drapeau français à son point le plus haut. 
A l'intérieur, la salle est un demi cercle, pour que les députés s'assoient en rond. 

The French National Assembly is in Paris. The building was constructed in the 18th century and combines different shapes. 
In front, you can see cylinders made of stone, these are called columns. 
Behind the columns, there is the main building which is rectangular. 
The roof is in the shape of a pyramid. It is a triangle with the French flag at its highest point. 
Inside, the hall is a half circle, so that the deputies sit in a circle.
