- разходи (expenses) – money you spend, like bills and shopping
- спестявания (savings) – money set aside for future use
- разписване (allocation) – how you assign money to different categories
Practical Expressions
- „Колко са месечните ти разходи?“ (How much are your monthly expenses?)
- „Трябва да спестя повече пари за непредвидени разходи.“ (I need to save more money for unexpected expenses.)

Important Language Notes
Unlike English, Bulgarian uses the Cyrillic alphabet and has specific financial terms that may not have direct word-for-word translations. For example, the word разписване is a formal term for allocation or allocation planning and is important when discussing budgets in Bulgarian. Bulgarian often uses articles differently; adjectives typically agree in gender with the noun, so pay attention when describing amounts or categories.
For everyday budgeting conversations, phrases like да спестя пари (to save money) or да планирам разходите си (to plan my expenses) are commonly used and practical for learners to master.
