Text and translation

1. Esta es mi casa, y me gusta mucho. This is my house, and I like it a lot.
2. Está en un barrio tranquilo y tiene dos plantas. It is in a quiet neighborhood and has two floors.
3. En la planta baja hay una cocina amplia y luminosa donde cocino con mi madre. On the ground floor there is a spacious and bright kitchen where I cook with my mother.
4. Al lado está el salón, con un sofá cómodo y una lámpara donde pasamos tiempo juntos. Next to it is the living room, with a comfortable sofa and a lamp where we spend time together.
5. También tenemos un comedor pequeño, perfecto para cenar cada noche. We also have a small dining room, perfect for having dinner every night.
6. Desde el comedor se puede ver el jardín, que está justo afuera y tiene muchas plantas y flores. From the dining room you can see the garden, which is just outside and has many plants and flowers.
7. Se sube por la escalera a la planta de arriba, donde están los dormitorios. You go up the stairs to the upper floor, where the bedrooms are.
8. Arriba hay dos dormitorios: uno es mío y tiene paredes claras y un escritorio junto a la ventana. Upstairs there are two bedrooms: one is mine and has light walls and a desk by the window.
9. También hay un baño con una ventana que da al jardín, así que entra mucha luz por la mañana. There is also a bathroom with a window that faces the garden, so a lot of light comes in in the morning.
10. Desde el balcón se ve el parque del barrio, donde juegan los niños por la tarde. From the balcony you can see the neighborhood park, where children play in the afternoon.
11. En casa nos gusta tener todo limpio y ordenado, así que cada uno limpia su habitación. At home we like to keep everything clean and tidy, so everyone cleans their own room.
12. Aunque no es muy grande, es una casa donde vivimos bien y nos sentimos a gusto. Although it is not very big, it is a house where we live well and feel comfortable.
