Text and translation

1. Cela fait dix ans que nous habitons ensemble dans cette maison. We have been living together in this house for ten years.
2. Il y a trois chambres dans la maison. Elle est très grande ! There are three bedrooms in the house. It is very big!
3. Un long couloir sépare les différentes pièces. A long corridor separates the different rooms.
4. Le salon et la salle à manger sont dans la même grande pièce. The living room and the dining room are in the same large room.
5. Ma partie préférée de la maison est le salon, c’est là que nous passons de bons moments. My favorite part of the house is the living room, it is where we spend good times.
6. Il y a autant de salles de bain que de chambres. There are as many bathrooms as bedrooms.
7. Chaque salle de bain a des toilettes. Each bathroom has a toilet.
8. Le sol est en carrelage et les murs sont peints en gris clair. The floor is tiled and the walls are painted light gray.
9. La maison est très lumineuse grâce aux nombreuses fenêtres. The house is very bright thanks to the many windows.
10. Il y a aussi une cuisine et un jardin. There is also a kitchen and a garden.
11. Ma chambre est décorée à mon goût, en rose et bleu. My bedroom is decorated to my taste, in pink and blue.
12. C’est ma dernière année dans cette maison car je vais louer mon premier appartement en septembre. This is my last year in this house because I am going to rent my first apartment in September.
