¿Cómo pasar por el control de seguridad?
Si vas a viajar desde el aeropuerto de Barcelona-El Prat, aquí tienes los pasos que debes seguir antes de subir al avión:
✈️ 1. Mira los paneles informativos
Al llegar al aeropuerto, consulta las pantallas para ver en qué mostrador tienes que facturar tu equipaje.
🧾 2. Presenta tus documentos
En el mostrador, muestra tu pasaporte o DNI y te darán la tarjeta de embarque.
🧳 3. Factura tu maleta
Pon tu maleta en la báscula para que pesen el equipaje. Si todo está correcto, el personal la etiquetará y la enviará a la bodega del avión.
🔐 4. Pasa por el control de seguridad
Ve al control de seguridad. Allí debes:
- Mostrar tu tarjeta de embarque.
- Quitar objetos metálicos y los líquidos de tus bolsos.
- Seguir las indicaciones del personal de seguridad.
🪑 5. Busca tu puerta de embarque
Cuando pases el control, consulta las pantallas para saber tu puerta. Siéntate y espera ahí hasta que llamen para embarcar.
👨✈️ En el avión:
Al subir al avión:
- Abrocha tu cinturón de seguridad.
- Presta atención a las indicaciones de la tripulación y del piloto.
- ¡Disfruta del vuelo!
How to pass through security control?
If you are going to travel from Barcelona-El Prat airport, here are the steps you must follow before boarding the plane:
✈️ 1. Look at the information panels
Upon arrival at the airport, check the screens to see at which counter you have to check in your luggage.
🧾 2. Present your documents
At the counter, show your passport or ID card and you will be given the boarding pass.
🧳 3. Check your suitcase
Put your suitcase on the scale to weigh the luggage. If everything is correct, the staff will tag it and send it to the plane's hold.
🔐 4. Go through security control
Go to the security control. There you must:
- Show your boarding pass.
- Remove metallic objects and liquids from your bags.
- Follow the instructions of the security personnel.
🤑 5. Find your boarding gate
After passing the control, check the screens to know your gate. Sit down and wait there until they call to board.
👨✈️ On the plane:
When boarding the plane:
- Fasten your seatbelt.
- Pay attention to the instructions from the crew and the pilot.
- Enjoy the flight!

- ¿Qué debes hacer con los objetos metálicos antes de pasar por el control de seguridad?
- ¿Dónde puedes encontrar la información sobre tu puerta de embarque?
- ¿Alguna vez has viajado en avión? ¿A dónde fuiste?
- ¿Qué parte del aeropuerto te parece más fácil o difícil? ¿Por qué?
Exercise 2: Practice in context
Instruction: Mira el video y lee toda la información. Toma nota de los pasos y responde a las preguntas: ¿Qué objetos no puedes llevar en tu equipaje de mano? ¿Qué tienes que hacer con los líquidos al pasar el control?
