Henry is a vet and gives advice on how to take good care of pets.
Je m'appelle Henry, je suis vétérinaire. Aujourd'hui, je vais vous donner des conseils pour prendre soin de vos animaux. (My name is Henry, I am a veterinarian. Today, I am going to give you advice on how to take care of your animals.)
Il faut promener les chiens deux fois par jour. Ils ont besoin de courir et de se dépenser. (Dogs need to be walked twice a day. They need to run and expend energy.)
Les chiens sont fragiles avec certains aliments : ne leur donnez jamais de chocolat. (Dogs are sensitive to certain foods: never give them chocolate.)
En été, les chiens perdent leurs poils. Il faut donc les brosser régulièrement. (In summer, dogs shed their fur. You should therefore brush them regularly.)
Pendant la promenade, choisissez une laisse assez longue pour que le chien puisse bouger facilement. (During the walk, choose a leash long enough so the dog can move easily.)
Les chats sont indépendants. Ils aiment se promener seuls. (Cats are independent. They like to walk alone.)
Parfois, les chats ramènent une souris ou un oiseau. (Sometimes, cats bring back a mouse or a bird.)
Les chats mangent souvent. Mettez des croquettes dans leur gamelle pour qu'ils puissent manger quand ils veulent. (Cats often eat. Put kibble in their bowl so they can eat whenever they want.)
Le lapin peut aussi se promener dans la maison ou dans le jardin, sous surveillance. (The rabbit can also walk around the house or in the garden, under supervision.)
Le lapin a un cœur fragile, évitez de le faire courir trop vite. (The rabbit has a fragile heart, avoid making it run too fast.)
Si vous avez une souris comme animal, pensez à lui donner de l'eau fraîche chaque jour. (If you have a mouse as a pet, remember to give it fresh water every day.)
La tortue a besoin de manger des légumes et d'un endroit chaud pour vivre bien. (The turtle needs to eat vegetables and have a warm place to live well.)
