  1. Thousands: we use the form tysiąc for 1000, tysiące for 2–4000, and tysięcy from 5000 onwards.
  2. Millions: the rule is the same: milion (1), miliony (2–4), milionów (5 and more).
  3. Compound numerals are formed by joining successive parts in the following order: millions → thousands → hundreds → tens → units, e.g. dwanaście tysięcy trzysta pięć (12 305).
