Text and translation

1. Welkom in de nieuwe bibliotheek van Windesheim. Welcome to the new library of Windesheim.
2. Hier kun je studeren en boeken lenen. Here you can study and borrow books.
3. Laat je studentenpas zien en krijg 10% korting in het café. Show your student card and get 10% discount in the café.
4. Ben je hier voor het eerst? Ga dan eerst naar de servicebalie op de eerste verdieping. Are you here for the first time? Then first go to the service desk on the first floor.
5. De meeste studieplekken en boeken vind je op de vierde verdieping. Most study places and books can be found on the fourth floor.
6. De studieboeken zijn op nummer gerangschikt, er is meestal een boek beschikbaar. The textbooks are arranged by number, there is usually a book available.
7. Sommige boeken mag je niet lenen, maar je kunt ze wel lezen of scannen. Some books you are not allowed to borrow, but you can read or scan them.
8. Je kunt gratis scannen en de bestanden naar je e-mail sturen. You can scan for free and send the files to your email.
9. Er zijn veel werkplekken met stopcontacten, en je mag daar eten en drinken, behalve ongezond voedsel. There are many workplaces with power outlets, and you are allowed to eat and drink there, except unhealthy food.
10. Er zijn ook gratis studiecellen, maar die zijn vaak snel bezet. There are also free study cells, but they are often quickly occupied.
11. Op de tweede verdieping is een filmzaal en een expositieruimte met boeken over communicatie en geld. On the second floor there is a cinema and an exhibition space with books about communication and money.
12. Op de eerste verdieping is een café met tijdschriften, waar je met je studentenpas korting krijgt. On the first floor there is a café with magazines, where you get a discount with your student card.
