To register on the electoral roll, you need to bring documents such as your passport or NIE, the rental contract, and sometimes utility bills for electricity or water.

Primero, necesitas tu documento de identidad. (First, take your identity document.)
Puede ser tu pasaporte o tu NIE. (It can be your passport or your NIE.)
Después, necesitas un papel que dice dónde vives. (Then, submit a paper that says where you live.)
Si tienes un piso de alquiler, tienes que llevar el contrato. (If you have a rental apartment, bring the contract.)
Si vives con otra persona, necesitas una autorización firmada. (If you live with another person, you need a signed authorization.)
También, una copia del DNI de la persona titular de la vivienda. (Also, a copy of the ID of the person who owns the residence.)
