La educación Infantil tiene dos partes: el primer ciclo, de 0 a 3 años, y el segundo ciclo, de 3 a 6 años. (Early childhood education has two parts: the first cycle, from 0 to 3 years, and the second cycle, from 3 to 6 years.)
La educación primaria es obligatoria y gratis, y dura desde los 6 hasta los 12 años. (Primary education is compulsory and free, and lasts from 6 to 12 years old.)
La ESO, Educación Secundaria Obligatoria, también es obligatoria y dura cuatro años, desde los 12 hasta los 16 años. (ESO, Compulsory Secondary Education, is also compulsory and lasts four years, from 12 to 16 years old.)
Después de la ESO, los estudiantes pueden elegir entre bachillerato o formación profesional (FP). (After ESO, students can choose between bachillerato or vocational training (FP).)
El bachillerato dura dos años y prepara para la universidad. (Bachillerato lasts two years and prepares for university.)
