Highlights of Bulgarian Language Features Relevant to this Lesson

Bulgarian uses verb constructions like мисля да (I think I will) to express intentions, similar to English phrases like "I plan to..." or "I intend to..." The language expresses future plans using these modal constructions followed by the verb in its basic form, which can differ from English modal auxiliary forms.

Unlike English, Bulgarian question formation often relies heavily on intonation and pronouns without auxiliary verbs, e.g., "Кога мислиш да започнеш?" translates directly as "When do you think to start?" rather than "When do you think you will start?"
