1. Es mi primera semana en la ciudad y ya noto que todo es diferente. It's my first week in the city and I already notice that everything is different.
2. Aquí las costumbres no son como en mi país. Here the customs are not like in my country.
3. Por ejemplo, me está costando acostumbrarme al horario de las tiendas. For example, I'm finding it hard to get used to the store hours.
4. La mayoría cierra a las seis de la tarde, ¡y no me lo esperaba! Most close at six in the afternoon, and I wasn't expecting that!
5. En mi país, las tiendas abren temprano y cierran más tarde. In my country, stores open early and close later.
6. No entiendo muy bien por qué aquí cierran tan pronto. I don't quite understand why they close so early here.
7. Estoy intentando acostumbrarme, pero me sigue pareciendo raro. I'm trying to get used to it, but it still feels strange to me.
8. En mi país, se puede hacer la compra a casi cualquier hora. In my country, you can shop at almost any time.
9. Aunque no es fácil, sé que cada lugar tiene sus propias costumbres. Although it's not easy, I know every place has its own customs.
10. Por eso adaptarse lleva tiempo, pero poco a poco voy aprendiendo. That's why adapting takes time, but little by little I'm learning.
