Notes on Polish Food-Related Language Compared to English
Polish verbs related to eating and drinking conjugate differently depending on the subject. Notice the frequent use of the first-person singular verb forms ending with -ę or -m.
Food-related vocabulary includes nouns with gender and case endings, so their forms may change in sentences (not covered in depth here but important for further study).
Unlike English, where the verb form does not change much in the present tense except for third person singular, Polish has distinct endings for each person.
