Note on Language Differences
Unlike English, Polish has formal and informal forms of address. For example, "Czy mają Państwo" is a polite way to address 'you' in plural or formal singular situations, important in stores or public settings. Additionally, Polish often uses specific verb aspect and case endings that don't exist in English, affecting sentence structure and verb conjugation.
Words like "chleb" (bread) and "ser" (cheese) have straightforward counterparts, but plural forms and quantity expressions may differ, for example, "kilogram jabłek" (a kilogram of apples) uses the genitive case for counting.
Polite requests usually start with "Poproszę" (I would like), which is handy for ordering or requesting items casually yet respectfully.
