Afgelopen vrijdag was de van de nieuwe Nederlandse *Nacht in de Stad*. De Pathé Utrecht was bijna en veel bezoekers hadden hun kaarten al online gereserveerd. De kaartverkoop liep zo goed omdat de al weken op social media te zien was. De film is een combinatie van misdaad en romantiek, met een spannende die zich in één nacht afspeelt.
De bouwt rustig op naar de en gebruikt de muziek en het slim om de sfeer donker en toch humoristisch te maken. De is overtuigend als jonge advocaat die per ongeluk in een criminele scène terechtkomt, terwijl de bijrollen het verhaal luchtiger maken. De ondertiteling is duidelijk, ook voor internationals die nog Nederlands leren. Ik zou deze film zeker aanraden aan mensen die houden van thrillers met een beetje humor, en ik beoordeel hem met vier van de vijf sterren.Last Friday was the premiere of the new Dutch film *Night in the City*. Pathé Utrecht was almost sold out and many visitors had already reserved their tickets online. Ticket sales were so strong because the trailer had been on social media for weeks. The film blends crime and romance, with an exciting storyline that unfolds over one night.
The director slowly builds toward the climax and uses the music and soundtrack cleverly to create a mood that is dark but also humorous. The lead actor is convincing as a young lawyer who accidentally becomes involved in a criminal incident, while the supporting cast keeps the story lighter. The subtitles are clear, also for internationals who are still learning Dutch. I would definitely recommend this film to people who enjoy thrillers with a touch of humor, and I rate it four out of five stars.
