Ab nächster Woche gelten in unserem Forschungslabor neue Sicherheits- und Dokumentationsregeln. Alle Mitarbeitenden müssen im Labor und Laborkittel tragen, auch bei kurzen Messungen. Chemikalien werden künftig in einem zentralen Raum gelagert; jede Entnahme muss im und im digitalen System protokolliert werden. Proben, die länger als 48 Stunden gelagert werden, brauchen ein eindeutiges Etikett mit Datum, Projekt, verantwortlicher Person und geplanter .
Um Kontaminationen zu vermeiden, werden Pipettiergeräte und Mikropipetten täglich gereinigt und einmal pro Woche kontrolliert. Vor jeder wichtigen Messreihe müssen alle Waagen und pH-Meter werden; die wird im notiert. Für biologische Proben steht eine neue zur Verfügung. Für die von gefährlichen Chemikalien gibt es ab sofort getrennte Behälter. Bitte lesen Sie die angehängten sorgfältig und informieren Sie auch neue Kolleginnen und Kollegen über diese Änderungen.Starting next week, new safety and documentation rules will take effect in our research laboratory. All staff must wear safety goggles and lab coats in the lab, even for short measurements. Chemicals will now be stored in a central room; every removal must be logged in the lab journal and in the digital system. Samples kept for more than 48 hours must have a clear label with the date, project, responsible person and planned analysis.
To avoid contamination, pipetting devices and micropipettes will be cleaned daily and inspected once a week. Before any major series of measurements, all balances and pH meters must be calibrated; the calibration will be noted in the protocol. A new centrifuge is available for biological samples. Separate containers are now provided for the disposal of hazardous chemicals. Please read the attached safety regulations carefully and inform new colleagues about these changes.
