Our company has a new office in Warsaw. The building has ten storeys. The reception is on the ground floor, and the meeting rooms are on the first and second floors. My office is on the third floor, next to the kitchen. The accounting department is on the fourth floor, and the IT department is on the fifth.

An important training begins on Monday. The first presentation is on the first floor, in room 3. The second presentation is on the second floor, in room 5. The third part of the training is on the sixth floor. All meetings start at 9:00 AM.

Exercise 6: Writing exercise

Instruction: Write a short text (3 to 5 sentences) about the building where you work or live: describe what is on the different floors and use ordinal numbers.

Useful expressions:

Na pierwszym / drugim / trzecim piętrze jest… / Moje mieszkanie / biuro jest na… piętrze. / Na parterze znajduje się… / W tym budynku są… piętra.
