Hallo,
hast du heute den Artikel in den Lokalnachrichten gelesen? Es geht um das neue Kulturzentrum in unserer Stadt. Die Schlagzeile ist sehr positiv, aber ich finde, die Berichterstattung ist nicht sehr ausgewogen. Die Wirtschaftsnachrichten letzte Woche haben die hohen Kosten kritisiert, aber das steht hier gar nicht.
In der Online-Ausgabe bittet die Redaktion um Kommentare der Leser. Ich möchte gerne einen kurzen Leserbrief schreiben, aber ich habe gerade keine Zeit. Kannst du vielleicht selbst dort einen Kommentar schreiben und deine Meinung berichten und ein bisschen hinterfragen, ob der Artikel wirklich so glaubwürdig ist?

Hi,
did you read the article in the local news today? It’s about the new cultural centre in our town. The headline is very positive, but I think the coverage is not very balanced. The business section criticised the high costs last week, but that isn’t mentioned here at all.
In the online edition the editorial team asks for readers’ comments. I’d like to write a short letter to the editor, but I don’t have time right now. Could you maybe post a comment there yourself and share your opinion and question a little whether the article is really that credible?

ich habe Ihren Artikel über das neue Kulturzentrum mit Interesse gelesen. Die Schlagzeile ist sehr positiv, aber ich finde, dass wichtige Informationen fehlen. In den Wirtschaftsnachrichten wurde letzte Woche über die hohen Kosten und die Schulden der Stadt berichtet. In Ihrem Artikel steht dazu fast nichts.
Meiner Meinung nach sollten Sie diese Punkte in der Berichterstattung stärker berücksichtigen, damit die Leser sich ein eigenes Bild machen können. Außerdem möchte ich darauf hinweisen, dass auch kritische Stimmen aus der Nachbarschaft kaum erwähnt werden.
Trotzdem finde ich es gut, dass Sie über Kulturprojekte berichten. Ich wünsche mir aber eine ausgewogenere und transparentere Darstellung.

I read your article about the new cultural centre with interest. The headline is very positive, but I believe important information is missing. The business section reported last week on the high costs and the city’s debt. Your article mentions almost nothing about this.
In my view, you should give these points more consideration in your coverage so that readers can form a complete picture. Furthermore, I would like to note that critical voices from the neighbourhood are barely mentioned.
Nevertheless, I appreciate that you cover cultural projects. I would, however, like to see a more balanced and transparent presentation.
