Primera visita al dentista: qué esperar
En la primera visita, el dentista revisa tu médico y anota y medicación. Después te pide que te sientes en el dental y explica cómo será la consulta: exploración de la boca con espejo y , y revisión de encías y dientes.
Si es necesario, se toma una intraoral para localizar caries o zonas con sensibilidad. Al final, el profesional comenta los resultados, da instrucciones de higiene y puede programar una cita de seguimiento.On the first visit, the dentist reviews your medical history and notes allergies and medication. Then they ask you to sit in the dental chair and explain what the appointment will be like: an examination of the mouth with a mirror and probe, and a check of the gums and teeth.
If necessary, an intraoral X-ray is taken to locate cavities or sensitive areas. At the end, the professional discusses the results, gives hygiene instructions, and may schedule a follow-up appointment.
