On Wednesday I’m on call and I have to be available in case something urgent comes up. In the team meeting, the supervisor assigns tasks and reviews the staff scheduling plan. Hola, Laura.

Gracias.

Hi, Laura. I’m Marta, from supervision.

I’m writing about the scheduling for this weekend. On Saturday afternoon a colleague is ill and we need to cover a shift in the Emergency Department (15:00–23:00). Do you have availability to do that shift? If you can’t, tell me what hours do work for you and I’ll try to coordinate it with the rest of the staff. Thanks.

Hola, Marta.

Hi, Marta. Thanks for letting me know. Yes, I can cover the Saturday shift from 15:00 to 23:00. I would just need to take a break for dinner around 19:30. If needed, I can coordinate the handover with Ana before the shift. On Sunday morning I’m not available, but in the afternoon I am. Best regards, Laura.
