¿A qué hora te va bien?

Hello, I’m Laura, the home care coordinator.

On Thursday morning I’m going to visit Mr. Manuel (83). He says that at night he sleeps little and in the morning he finds it hard to get up. At home he walks with a cane and is afraid of falling in the bathroom. He also takes medication after breakfast, but sometimes he forgets.

Can you go on Thursday? What time works for you? I need to know if you can help him with personal hygiene and with gentle exercises.

Hi Laura, yes, I can go on Thursday at 9:30. During the visit I can help Mr. Manuel get up calmly and accompany him to the bathroom. I can also help him with personal hygiene (face, hands, and a quick shower if he feels safe) and check that the floor is dry to prevent falls. After breakfast I will remind him about his medication and suggest gentle exercises: moving his legs and arms and walking for a few minutes with the cane. Does this time work for you?
