For a shift change, notify at least 24 hours in advance and find a replacement with a colleague. Overtime must be agreed with the coordinator. In case of urgency, call the secretary’s office: it handles requests and updates the schedule.

Oggi in ospedale controllo il calendario dei turni con il responsabile. Questa settimana c'è una rotazione: faccio due mattine e poi il turno di notte venerdì. Dopo la riunione di reparto coordino il cambio turno con Marta. Lei è in ritardo perché è di passaggio al pronto soccorso, quindi la copro per mezz'ora. Domani forse farò straordinario per una sostituzione, ma dipende dalla pianificazione e dalla reperibilità di un collega.

Can you cover his shift on the ward from 7:00 to 13:00? If it’s difficult for you, tell me if you can start earlier or do a shift swap with someone. Today at 15:30 we’re having a brief ward meeting to plan the week.
