Giulia (infermiera, turno uscente): Show Ciao Marco, cambio turno: siamo in reparto medicina, letto 12. Ho aggiornato la cartella clinica e il verbale del turno.
(Hi Marco, shift handover: we’re on the medical ward, bed 12. I updated the medical chart and the shift report.)
Marco (infermiere, turno entrante): Show Ok, com'è il quadro clinico? Il paziente è cosciente? Com'è la scala del dolore?
(Ok, what’s the clinical picture like? Is the patient conscious? What’s the pain scale?)
Giulia (infermiera, turno uscente): Show Sì, paziente cosciente e orientato. Dolore 6 su 10; dopo la somministrazione dei farmaci è sceso a 4, ma la situazione è ancora in corso di valutazione.

Hi Paola, update on Mr. Bianchi (bed 12): he is conscious and oriented. I checked vital signs at 13:15: BP 125/80, T 37.2°C, oxygen saturation 96% on room air. Pain scale 4/10; he requested an analgesic and I administered paracetamol as prescribed, after 30 minutes he reports 2/10. I don’t notice any worsening, he seems to be improving. To report to the doctor: persistent cough, it is being assessed whether aerosol therapy is needed. Do you want me to monitor the parameters every 2 hours?
