Today at 12:30 in the meeting room a multidisciplinary meeting will be held about the patient in the orthopedics ward. The general practitioner, the specialist, the nurse, and the physiotherapist are taking part. The ward coordinator presents the case and the person in charge assigns the tasks.

During the meeting each professional can express an opinion and ask for clarifications. At the end a care plan is agreed and it is recorded in the minutes: roles, decisions, and activities to be done by tomorrow.

grazie per l'invito. Sì, posso partecipare alla riunione domani alle 10:30.
Secondo me, per il dolore è importante verificare la risposta alla terapia di oggi e considerare una piccola modifica se necessario. Per la mobilità, il fisioterapista può proporre esercizi semplici da fare a casa e un piano di graduale cammino.
Vorrei un chiarimento: la dimissione è prevista già domani o è probabile per i prossimi giorni?

In my opinion, for pain it is important to check the response to today’s therapy and consider a small change if necessary. For mobility, the physiotherapist can suggest simple exercises to do at home and a plan for gradual walking.
I would like a clarification: is discharge already planned for tomorrow or is it likely for the next few days?
