Exercise 1: Writing correspondence
Instruction: Write a reply to the following message appropriate to the situation
E-Mail: You will receive an email from the dental laboratory and should clearly confirm the order for an upper denture and specify details (material, colour, design, adjustment).
Betreff: Auftrag Oberkiefer-Prothese Frau Keller
Sehr geehrter Herr Doktor,
wir haben die Abformung für die Oberkiefer-Prothese von Frau Keller erhalten.Bitte geben Sie uns noch:
- die gewünschte Farbangabe (Vita-Farbe?)
- die Materialangabe für die Basis
- Information: Teilprothese oder Totalprothese?
- besondere Wünsche zur Bisslage oder zur Anprobe
Können wir die Anprobe nächste Woche einplanen? Bitte teilen Sie uns auch mit, ob wir etwas an der alten Prothese einstellen oder anpassen sollen.

Für Frau Keller wünsche ich folgende Ausführung:
- Farbangabe: Vita A2
- Materialangabe: wärmegehärtete Kunststoffbasis
- Es handelt sich um eine Totalprothese im Oberkiefer (OK).
- Die Bisslage bitte leicht anheben, etwa 1 mm.
Bitte planen Sie eine Wachs-Anprobe in der nächsten Woche ein, am besten am Mittwoch oder Donnerstag Vormittag. An der alten Prothese müssen Sie nichts mehr einstellen, die Patientin trägt sie nicht mehr.

Übung 6: Conversation exercise
Anleitung:
- Der Patient möchte einen endodontisch behandelten Zahn (24) mit einer Zirkonkrone versorgen. Welche Schritte würden Sie befolgen, um eine Zirkonkrone herzustellen, und in wie vielen Terminen? (The patient wants to restore an endodontically treated tooth (24) with a zirconia crown. Which steps would you follow to make a zirconia crown, and in how many appointments?)
- Beschreiben Sie den Laborauftrag, den Sie senden würden, um die Kunststoff-Probeeinprobe (PMMA) anzufordern. (Describe the LABORATORY NOTE you would send to request the PLASTIC TRY-IN (PMMA).)
