At our practice we perform tooth extractions, including wisdom teeth. Before the procedure you will receive a local anesthetic. Afterwards a small wound will remain. In the first few hours there may be slight bleeding. If necessary we will apply a dressing or place stitches. Please do not schedule any important appointments on the day of the treatment and do not come fasting, unless we have agreed otherwise beforehand.

Aftercare: Bite on the gauze for 30 minutes and apply a cold compress to the outside of the cheek. Do not rinse on the first day and avoid alcohol. Do not smoke for 24 hours. Eat soft, lukewarm foods. For pain you may take a painkiller. Call us if the bleeding remains heavy, the cheek becomes very swollen, or you develop a fever.
