Instruction: Write a reply to the following message appropriate to the situation
E-Mail: You will receive an email from your boss about a patient as an employed dentist. You are to explain the panoramic X-ray, the diagnosis and the treatment plan to the patient in writing in simple terms and suggest a prosthetic solution.

Man sieht, dass im Oberkiefer rechts zwei Zähne fehlen. Im Unterkiefer hat Zahn 36 eine große Karies. An der Wurzel von diesem Zahn gibt es wahrscheinlich eine Entzündung.
Für Zahn 36 empfehle ich zuerst eine Wurzelbehandlung und danach eine Füllung oder eine Krone. Wenn der Zahn nicht zu retten ist, müssen wir ihn vielleicht ziehen und später ein Implantat planen.
Für die Lücke im Oberkiefer schlage ich eine kleine Brücke vor. Eine Prothese ist auch möglich, aber eine Brücke ist oft bequemer.

Dear Mrs. Keller,
Thank you for your email and for your patience. I have reviewed your new panoramic radiograph.
The image shows that two teeth are missing on the right side of the upper jaw. In the lower jaw, tooth 36 has a large cavity. There is likely an infection at the root of that tooth.
For tooth 36 I recommend a root canal treatment first, followed by either a filling or a crown. If the tooth cannot be saved, we may need to extract it and plan for an implant later.
For the gap in the upper jaw I suggest a small fixed bridge. A removable denture is also possible, but a bridge is often more comfortable.
Please let me know whether you agree with this plan or if you have any questions.

Für den prothetischen Plan schlage ich zwei Optionen vor: eine brückenförmige Versorgung mit metallkeramischer Verblendung für bessere Stabilität oder eine herausnehmbare Prothese (eine wirtschaftlichere Lösung).
