Next the assistant prepares the treatment chair. Dr. Weber examines the teeth with a mouth mirror, probe and forceps. He looks carefully at the gums and at any plaque. He explains everything slowly: “Here I see a small cavity. This area is very sensitive. We plan to place a filling later.”
At the end he reassures the patient. He says: “Overall, your teeth are in good condition.” Then he makes a new appointment with her for the next treatment and explains what she should do at home until then.

Übung 6: Conversation exercise
Anleitung:
- Simulieren Sie die Begrüßung im Wartezimmer. Stellen Sie sich vor, beruhigen Sie den Patienten mit einem kurzen Satz und führen Sie ihn in den Behandlungsraum.
