Lesson Details and Language Notes
The Bulgarian language uses gender and number agreement in adjectives describing shapes, a feature not present in English. For example, the adjective "квадратни" in "правилните форми" (the correct shapes) agrees in plural with the noun.
Bulgarian tends to use more specific nouns and agreement than English, so pay attention to these endings.
Useful Words and Differences
- форма – form or shape; a broad term used in many expressions.
- правилен – correct, proper; in talking about shapes, means standard or regular forms.
- този / тази / това – this (masculine/feminine/neuter); used for asking about shapes based on gender of the noun.
