Differences Between English and Bulgarian
In Bulgarian, the verb "искам" (to want) is often used with the particle "ли" to form yes/no questions, such as "Искаш ли..." meaning "Do you want...?" This is different from English where word order and auxiliary verbs are used. Bulgarian also uses specific words for times and days placed after the verb phrase, e.g., "този петък вечер" (this Friday night), whereas in English the time usually precedes the verb phrase.
Another point is that Bulgarian verbs can incorporate meaning that in English requires auxiliary verbs or prepositions, making the Bulgarian phrases more compact but requiring attention to verb forms and particles.
