À partir de lundi, nous remplaçons une partie du matériel de soins. Pour la toilette au lit, vous trouverez un nouvel et des lingettes, à utiliser après la du chariot. Pour les transferts, un dispositif de levage et des seront disponibles : demandez une démonstration si vous n’êtes pas à l’aise.
Pour la prévention des chutes, pensez à à l’entrée du service et après tout changement d’état. Adaptez l’environnement : , main courante dégagée, sonnette à portée de main. Starting Monday, we are replacing some of the care equipment. For bed bathing, you will find a new antiseptic and wipes, to be used after disinfecting the trolley. For transfers, a lifting device and transfer belts will be available: ask for a demonstration if you are not comfortable.
For fall prevention, remember to assess the risk of falling upon admission to the unit and after any change in condition. Adapt the environment: non-slip mat, handrail kept clear, call bell within reach. For thromboembolic prophylaxis, check that compression stockings are being worn and encourage early mobilization while avoiding sudden movements.

J'ai deux questions pratiques : où seront rangés les bas de contention après la formation, et qui valide l'utilisation du dispositif de levage lorsqu'on est en sous-effectif ? Cette semaine, j'ai eu une difficulté lors d'un transfert : le tapis antidérapant de la chambre 12 glissait un peu. Peut-on en parler pendant la séance ?

I have two practical questions: where will the compression stockings be stored after the training, and who approves the use of the lifting device when we are short-staffed? This week, I had a difficulty during a transfer: the non-slip mat in room 12 was slipping a little. Can we talk about it during the session?
