Exercise 1: Rédiger de la correspondance
Instruction: Write a reply to the following message appropriate to the situation
E-Mail: You receive an email from your ward manager about new aids and hygiene rules and should respond briefly in writing whether everything is clear and what else you need.
Betreff: Neue Hilfsmittel und Schulung zur Mobilisation
Liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen,
ab nächster Woche haben wir auf der Station neue Mobilitätsgurte, Anti-Rutsch-Matten und ein zusätzliches Pflegebett mit elektrischer Höhenverstellung. Bitte nutzt diese Hilfsmittel konsequent, um Sturzprophylaxe und eure eigene Ergonomie zu verbessern.
Am Donnerstag, 15:00–16:00 Uhr, findet dazu eine kurze Schulung statt (Thema: sich und Patienten richtig positionieren und umlagern, richtige Hebe-Technik, Händedesinfektion vor und nach der Körperpflege).
Bitte schreiben Sie mir kurz, ob Sie an dem Termin teilnehmen können und ob Sie bestimmte Fragen oder Wünsche zur Schulung haben.

Subject: New equipment and training on mobilisation
Dear colleagues,
From next week we will have new mobility belts, anti-slip mats and an additional care bed with electric height adjustment on the ward. Please use these aids consistently to improve fall prevention and your own ergonomics.
On Thursday, 3:00–4:00 pm there will be a short training (topics: correctly positioning and repositioning yourself and patients, proper lifting technique, and hand disinfection before and after personal care).
Please write to me briefly to let me know whether you can attend the session and whether you have any specific questions or requests for the training.

vielen Dank für Ihre E-Mail und die Informationen zu den neuen Hilfsmitteln. Ich kann am Donnerstag von 15:00–16:00 Uhr an der Schulung teilnehmen.
Besonders wichtig wäre für mich eine genaue Erklärung zur ergonomischen Hebe-Technik und zur sicheren Nutzung der Mobilitätsgurte, vor allem bei sehr eingeschränkten Patienten. Außerdem interessiere ich mich für Tipps zur Sturzprophylaxe beim Umlagern ins Pflegebett oder in den Rollstuhl.
Falls es möglich ist, hätte ich die Unterlagen zur Schulung auch gern per E-Mail, damit ich sie später noch einmal in Ruhe lesen kann.
