Außerdem wiederholen wir prophylaktische Maßnahmen: Sturzprävention (z. B. , passendes Schuhwerk, Klingel in Reichweite) und durch frühe Mobilisation, Bewegungsförderung und korrekte Lagerungstechnik. Starting next week, our ward will introduce new standard supplies for patient care. When working close to patients, please always use disposable gloves and an approved disinfectant to break the chain of infection. For tasks with a risk of splashes, protective gowns and a face mask are required as well. The supplies are stored in Storage Room 2; please report empty dispensers to the team leader promptly.

A mandatory training on ergonomic working will be held at the same time. We will practice safe transfers using a mobility belt, sliding sheet and patient lifter. The goal is to protect the back and prevent falls. We will also review preventive measures: fall prevention (e.g. non-slip coverings, appropriate footwear, call bell within reach) and thrombosis prevention through early mobilization, encouragement of movement and correct positioning techniques. Please come in your work clothing and bring any questions from your practice.

Ich habe gelernt, wie wir Desinfektionsmittel richtig anwenden und wann Einmalhandschuhe, Schutzkittel und Schutzmaske nötig sind, damit wir die Infektionskette unterbrechen. Danach haben wir den Mobilitätsgürtel und den Patientenlifter geübt. Beim Transfer soll ich das Gewicht verlagern und den Rücken schonen. Hallo Frau Wolf,

vielen Dank für die Information. Ich habe verstanden, dass wir ab morgen die neuen Einmalhandschuhe am Spender und die kontaktarme Desinfektionslösung verwenden und den Anti-Rutsch-Belag im Bad sowie an der Bettkante einsetzen.

Beim Transfer werde ich den Mobilitätsgurt nutzen und Herrn Krüger den Bewegungsablauf kurz erklären. Ich dokumentiere im Pflegeprotokoll, ob der Belag richtig liegt und wie der Transfer verlaufen ist, da sein Sturzrisiko erhöht ist.

Könnten Sie mir bitte noch sagen, wo der Anti-Rutsch-Belag gelagert wird? Und sollen wir bei unsicheren Transfers grundsätzlich eine zweite Person hinzuziehen?

thank you for the information. I understand that as of tomorrow we will use the new disposable gloves from the dispenser, the contact‑reduced disinfectant, and the anti‑slip covering in the bathroom and at the bed edge.

For transfers I will use the mobility belt and briefly explain the movement sequence to Mr. Krüger. I will document in the care record whether the covering is positioned correctly and how the transfer proceeded, since his fall risk is increased.

Could you please tell me where the anti‑slip covering is stored? And should we generally call in a second person for transfers that feel unsafe?
