In deze tandartspraktijk meld je je eerst bij de balie. Daarna loop je langs de behandelkamers en de wachtruimte. In de kamers werken tandartsen, assistentes en mondhygiënisten. De preventieassistente helpt bij tandvleesproblemen en geeft tips, zoals flossen. De tandtechnicus werkt achter de schermen aan protheses. Zo weet je wie wat doet in de praktijk.

We beginnen meteen bij de balie, waar je wordt verwelkomd. (We start right away at the reception desk, where you are welcomed.)
Je meldt je even aan en we lopen langs onze behandelkamers - links zijn er drie behandelkamers voor mondhygiënisten, tandartsen en assistentes. (You quickly check in and we walk past our treatment rooms — on the left there are three treatment rooms for dental hygienists, dentists, and assistants.)
Hier is ook de wachtruimte, waar je rustig kunt plaatsnemen. (Here is also the waiting area, where you can sit down calmly.)
Loop met me mee, dan zie je ons kunstwerk van Rob Dumper: al onze handen samen, en dit is mijn hand. (Walk with me, then you’ll see our artwork by Rob Dumper: all our hands together, and this is my hand.)
We gaan door naar kamer drie, waar Belinda, onze preventieassistente, klaarstaat om patiënten te helpen met onder andere tandvleesontstekingen. (We move on to room three, where Belinda, our prevention assistant, is ready to help patients with, among other things, gum inflammations.)
Belinda geeft altijd handige tips, zoals goed flossen om problemen te voorkomen. (Belinda always gives useful tips, such as flossing well to prevent problems.)
Op kamer twee zit Erwin, een van de vriendelijkste tandartsen van Nederland, die het belangrijk vindt dat iedereen met een goed gevoel de deur uitgaat na een behandeling. (In room two sits Erwin, one of the friendliest dentists in the Netherlands, who thinks it’s important that everyone leaves with a good feeling after a treatment.)
Daarna gaan we naar Richard, onze tandtechnicus, die achter de schermen werkt om alles zo mooi mogelijk te maken en ervoor zorgt dat gebitsprotheses goed passen. (After that we go to Richard, our dental technician, who works behind the scenes to make everything as beautiful as possible and makes sure that dental prostheses fit well.)
Onze mondhygiënist Esmee is een vrolijke en enthousiaste collega die patiënten helpt bij de gebitsreiniging. (Our dental hygienist Esmee is a cheerful and enthusiastic colleague who helps patients with dental cleaning.)
Het is belangrijk om goed te poetsen en het gebit gezond te houden, zodat tandvleesontstekingen worden voorkomen. (It is important to brush well and keep your teeth healthy, so that gum inflammations are prevented.)

1. Assistente: Hallo dokter, welkom in de kliniek! Ik laat u graag de praktijk zien. (Hello doctor, welcome to the clinic! I would be happy to show you around the practice.)
2. Patiënt: Hartelijk dank. (Thank you very much.)
3. Assistente: Dit is de receptie. Patiënten komen hier eerst om hun afspraak te bevestigen. (This is the reception desk. Patients come here first to confirm their appointment.)
4. Patiënt: Mooi - het is licht en goed georganiseerd. (Nice – it is bright and well organized.)
5. Assistente: Naast de receptie is de wachtruimte, met koffie en tijdschriften. (Next to the reception desk is the waiting area, with coffee and magazines.)
6. Patiënt: Perfect. En hoeveel behandelkamers hebben jullie? (Perfect. And how many treatment rooms do you have?)
7. Assistente: We hebben in totaal drie behandelkamers. Kom mee, dan laat ik ze zien. (We have a total of three treatment rooms. Come with me, I'll show you them.)
8. Patiënt: In welke kamer werk ik als ik begin? (Which room will I work in when I start?)
9. Assistente: U werkt in behandelkamer nummer twee. Dat is de middelste kamer en die is goed uitgerust. (You will work in treatment room number two. That is the middle room and it is well equipped.)
