In our dental practice we provide fixed restorations such as a crown, a bridge, an onlay or a ceramic veneer. A crown protects a weakened tooth or molar and restores its shape and strength. A bridge replaces a missing tooth and is anchored to the teeth next to the gap. An onlay is a cap that covers part of a molar. A veneer is a thin shell placed on the front of a tooth, mainly for cosmetic reasons.

When choosing the material we decide together. Zirconium is strong and looks natural, even in the back of the mouth. Metal-ceramic is sturdy, but sometimes a gray line can appear later at the gum line. A fully metal crown is very durable, but less aesthetic. For the treatment we take an impression (digital or with silicone). You will often receive a temporary crown first until we cement the final restoration in place.
