Je m’appelle Lilé, j’ai 26 ans, et je suis assistante dentaire depuis environ 4 ou 5 ans. (My name is Lilé, I am 26 years old, and I have been a dental assistant for about 4 or 5 years.)
Le matin, j’allume les gros compresseurs qui servent à l’aspiration partout dans le cabinet. (In the morning, I turn on the large compressors used for suction throughout the practice.)
Dans ces tubes, il y a la salive de tous les patients; tout est relié à un système centralisé. (In these tubes, there is the saliva of all the patients; everything is connected to a centralised system.)
On met en marche le fauteuil du patient, puis on prépare les instruments qui ont été stérilisés et changés. (The patient's chair is turned on, then we prepare the instruments that have been sterilised and changed.)
Après chaque patient, on place les instruments dans le bac de décontamination pour les nettoyer. (After each patient, the instruments are placed in the decontamination tray to be cleaned.)

1. Assistante: Bonjour docteur, bienvenue à la clinique ! Je vais vous faire visiter les locaux. (Hello doctor, welcome to the clinic! I’m going to show you around the premises.)
2. Dentiste: Merci beaucoup. (Thank you very much.)
3. Assistante: Ici, c’est l’accueil. Les patients passent d’abord ici pour confirmer leur rendez-vous. (This is the reception. Patients come here first to confirm their appointment.)
4. Dentiste: Très bien, c’est clair et bien organisé. (Very good, it’s clear and well organized.)
5. Assistante: À côté, il y a la salle d’attente avec du café et des magazines pour les patients. (Next to it, there is the waiting room with coffee and magazines for the patients.)
6. Dentiste: Parfait. Combien y a-t-il de salles de soins ? (Perfect. How many treatment rooms are there?)
7. Assistante: Nous avons trois box en tout. Venez, je vais vous les montrer. (We have three treatment rooms in total. Come, I’ll show you.)
8. Dentiste: Dans quel box vais-je travailler quand je commencerai ? (In which treatment room will I work when I start?)
9. Assistante: Vous travaillerez dans le box numéro deux, c’est celui du milieu, bien équipé. (You will work in treatment room number two, the one in the middle, which is well equipped.)
10. Dentiste: Super ! Comment est organisé le matériel ? (Great! How is the equipment arranged?)
