Thank you for your message. Based on your symptoms (very severe pain, swollen cheek, bad taste with possible pus), it could be an infectious abscess. Do you have a fever? Can you open your mouth normally?
We can see you as an emergency today at 4:30 pm for an examination and an X-ray. Please arrive 10 minutes early.
In the meantime, avoid applying heat to the cheek. You can take paracetamol if you have no contraindications. If the swelling increases a lot or if you have difficulty breathing, call 15.
