Ein Paket verschicken

In Deutschland hat jede Adresse eine Postleitzahl mit fünf Zahlen. Die Postleitzahl zeigt die Stadt oder Region. Das Video zeigt wie man einen Paketschein schreibt, um ein Paket zu verschicken.
In Germany, every address has a postcode with five digits. The postcode indicates the city or region. The video shows how to fill out a parcel label to send a parcel.

In die erste Zeile kommt der Vorname und dann der Nachname. (In the first line you put the first name and then the last name.)
Es kann aber auch der Firmenname sein. (But it can also be the company name.)
Bei mir ist es jetzt einfach mal Max Mustermann, könnte aber auch die Mustermann GmbH sein. (For me right now it’s simply Max Mustermann, but it could also be Mustermann GmbH.)
In die zweite Zeile kann man einen Adresszusatz eintragen. (In the second line you can enter an address addition.)
In meinem Fall vielleicht Erstes Obergeschoss. Es kann aber auch ein Hinterhof sein. Diese Zeile bleibt aber meistens frei. (In my case maybe First floor. But it could also be a rear courtyard. However, this line usually remains empty.)
In die dritte Zeile kommen dann die Straße und deine Hausnummer, bei mir die Musterstraße eins. (In the third line come the street and your house number, for me Musterstraße one.)
In die vierte Zeile kommt die Postleitzahl, bei mir fünfmal die Neun, und der Ort: Musterhausen. (In the fourth line come the postal code, for me five times the nine, and the city/town: Musterhausen.)
Ganz wichtig: Du solltest alles in Druckbuchstaben schreiben, damit man es gut lesen kann. (Very important: You should write everything in block capitals so that it can be read well.)
Denn wenn zum Beispiel dein Paket beim Empfänger nicht abgegeben werden kann, weil die Adresse falsch angegeben ist, dann wird das Paket zu dir zurückgeschickt. (Because if, for example, your package can’t be delivered to the recipient because the address was given incorrectly, then the package will be sent back to you.)
Beim Empfänger dort drüben kommt die Adresse hin, wohin dein Paket geschickt werden soll. (For the recipient over there, that’s where you put the address to which your package should be sent.)

Exercise 2: Dialogue

Instruction: Read the dialogue and answer the questions.

Anna geht zur Post, weil sie ein Paket an ihre Tante schicken möchte.

Anna goes to the post office because she wants to send a parcel to her aunt.
1. Mark: Guten Morgen. (Good morning.)
2. Anna: Guten Tag. Können Sie mir bitte helfen, diesen Paketschein auszufüllen? Das Paket ist für meine Tante. (Good day. Could you please help me fill out this parcel form? The parcel is for my aunt.)
3. Mark: Natürlich. Was verstehen Sie nicht? (Of course. What don't you understand?)
4. Anna: Was muss ich in diese Zeile schreiben? (What do I have to write on this line?)
5. Mark: In diese Zeile schreiben Sie den Vor- und Nachnamen Ihrer Tante. (On this line you write your aunt's first and last name.)
6. Anna: Und was schreibe ich in die nächste Zeile? (And what do I write on the next line?)
7. Mark: In die nächste Zeile schreiben Sie die Adresse Ihrer Tante: Straße und Hausnummer. (On the next line you write your aunt's address: street and house number.)
8. Anna: Und was kommt in die Zeile darunter? (And what goes on the line below that?)
9. Mark: Dort schreiben Sie die Postleitzahl und den Ort Ihrer Tante. (There you write your aunt's postal code and city.)
