Rearranging the living-room furniture
1. Bernd: Lass uns auf jeden Fall mit dem Schrank anfangen. (Let's definitely start with the cabinet.)
2. Tanja: Was ist mit dem Schrank? (What about the cabinet?)
3. Bernd: Der schwarze Schrank zwischen dem schwarzen Sofa und dem dunkelgrauen Sessel ist einfach zu dunkel. (The black cabinet between the black sofa and the dark gray armchair is just too dark.)
4. Tanja: Das stimmt. Was hältst du davon, wenn wir den Schrank in den Flur stellen? Da ist sowieso mehr Licht. (That's true. What do you think about moving the cabinet into the hallway? There's more light there.)
5. Bernd: Das finde ich eine gute Idee. Der Flur ist mit dem Fenster zur Südseite sowieso schon sehr hell. (I think that's a good idea. The hallway is already very bright thanks to the south-facing window.)
6. Tanja: Mich stört aber noch der Teppich im Wohnzimmer. Die blaue Farbe passt überhaupt nicht zu den restlichen Möbeln. (But the rug in the living room still bothers me. The blue doesn't match the rest of the furniture at all.)
7. Bernd: Von mir aus können wir den Teppich wegwerfen. Der ist ja fast schon kaputt. (As far as I'm concerned, we can throw the rug away. It's almost worn out anyway.)
8. Tanja: Super, dass wir das gleich sehen. Als Letztes: der Schreibtisch. (Good that we agree on that. Last thing: the desk.)
