Ich habe jetzt hier als Beispiel mein Gesicht genommen – ein Muster für ein ovales Gesicht. (I have now taken my face here as an example – a model for an oval face.)
Wenn man dann die Linien einfach rüberzieht, kann man sehen, dass es mehr oder weniger identisch ist. (If you then simply draw the lines across, you can see that it is more or less identical.)
Kommen wir zum quadratischen Gesicht. (Let’s move on to the square face.)
Beim quadratischen Gesicht ist die Stirnlinie von hier bis hier identisch mit der Kieferlinie. (With a square face, the forehead line from here to here is identical to the jawline.)
Ungefähr so haben wir dann ein schönes Quadrat. (That way we get a nice square, roughly like this.)
Das ist eigentlich auch das Ideal für Männer: sehr kantig, sehr quadratisch. (This is actually also the ideal for men: very angular, very square.)
Kommen wir zum runden Gesicht. (Let’s move on to the round face.)
Beim runden Gesicht ist die Linie von der Stirn bis zum Kinn so lang wie die Linie zwischen den Wangenknochen. (With a round face, the line from the forehead to the chin is as long as the line between the cheekbones.)
Dann sieht es ungefähr aus wie ein Kreis, also wie ein rundes Gesicht. (Then it looks roughly like a circle, i.e. like a round face.)
Kommen wir zur letzten Gesichtsform: die dreieckige Gesichtsform. (Let’s move on to the last face shape: the triangular face shape.)

1. Thomas: Glaubst du, eine quadratische Brille würde mir stehen? (Do you think a square pair of glasses would suit me?)
2. Irene: Nein. Du hast schon ein eher quadratisches Gesicht. Eine runde Brille macht mehr Sinn. (No. You already have a rather square face. Round glasses make more sense.)
3. Thomas: Wenn du meinst. Dann probiere ich diese hier an. (If you say so. Then I'll try these on.)
4. Irene: Und? Wie fühlt sie sich an? (So? How do they feel?)
5. Thomas: Sie ist ziemlich schwer. Und optisch finde ich sie auch nicht schön. (They're pretty heavy. And visually I don't think they're nice either.)
6. Irene: Du hast recht. Vielleicht passt rund doch nicht. Probier mal diese ovale Brille an! (You're right. Maybe round doesn't fit after all. Try these oval glasses on!)
7. Thomas: Na gut. Die steht mir, finde ich, sehr gut. Aber sie ist an der Nase ein bisschen zu eng. (All right. I think they suit me very well. But they're a bit too tight on my nose.)
8. Irene: Ich kann mal fragen, ob es eine gibt, die etwas weiter ist. (I can ask if there's one that's a bit wider.)
9. Thomas: Sie sollte weiter sein, aber auch etwas leichter. Diese hier ist auch sehr schwer. (They should be wider, but also a bit lighter. These are also very heavy.)
10. Irene: Ich frage mal den Optiker. (I'll ask the optician.)
