Jeden Freitag findet in Frankfurt im Sommer der Markt statt und im Sommer, ab 17 Uhr trifft sich dort die halbe Stadt um das Wochenende einzuleiten. Manche Anwohner fühlen sich jedoch davon gestört.
Every Friday in summer, the market takes place in Frankfurt, and in summer, from 5 pm, half the city meets there to kick off the weekend. However, some residents feel disturbed by it.

Der Markt geht bis 20 Uhr, und ab 17 Uhr gibt es eine große Afterwork-Party. (The market runs until 8 p.m., and from 5 p.m. there's a big after-work party.)
Die Stimmung ist gut, es sind nette Leute da, besonders in der Sonne. (The atmosphere is good; there are friendly people, especially in the sun.)
Es ist schön zu sehen, dass die Menschen wieder mehr draußen sind. (It's nice to see people spending more time outdoors again.)
Für manche ist das eine Freude, für andere eine Belastung. (For some it's a pleasure, for others a nuisance.)
Anwohner, wie Johannes, wünschen sich ab 22 Uhr Ruhe. (Residents like Johannes wish for quiet from 10 p.m. onwards.)

1. Moritz: Hallo, wie geht es dir? Hast du heute Abend schon Pläne? (Hello, how are you? Do you already have plans for tonight?)
2. Greta: Nein, noch nicht. Ich habe eine Einladung fürs Theater, aber ich habe keine Lust. (No, not yet. I have an invitation to the theater, but I don’t feel like going.)
