Exercise 1: Match a word

Instruction: Match each beginning with its correct ending.

Aushang im Büro: Für Termine in der Stadt nutzen wir bitte Bus und Bahn. Vom Hauptbahnhof zum Büro fährt die direkt. Die nächste heißt „Markt“. Die Bahn hält dort alle 10 Minuten. Wer lieber mit dem kommt, fährt bis zur Haltestelle und geht dann 3 Minuten.

Fahrkarten: Eine kaufen Sie am Automaten oder in der App. Das Ticket ist ab Entwertung 90 Minuten . Bitte steigen Sie vorn ein und halten Sie die Fahrkarte bereit. Achten Sie auf die : Bei Störung kann eine Bahn später . Für kurze Wege ist ein Taxi möglich, aber nur nach Rücksprache.
Notice in the office: For appointments in the city, please use buses and trains. From the main station there is a direct U-Bahn to the office. The next stop is called “Markt.” Trains stop there every 10 minutes. If you prefer to come by bicycle, ride to the stop and then walk for 3 minutes.

Tickets: You can buy a ticket at the ticket machine or in the app. The ticket is valid for 90 minutes from validation. Please board at the front and have your ticket ready. Pay attention to the announcement: in case of a disruption a train may depart later than scheduled. For short trips a taxi is possible, but only after prior consultation.

Hi Lea, du kannst mit der U-Bahn zum Hauptbahnhof fahren. Geh zu Fuß zur Station „Markt“. Steig dort in die U2 ein und fahre drei Stationen. Dann steigst du am Hauptbahnhof aus. Die Fahrkarte kannst du am Automaten in der Station kaufen. Viel Erfolg!
