Italy has four seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter. In spring, in March and April, the weather is mild: it is neither very cold nor very hot. It is a good season to visit cities like Florence or Rome. In summer, in June, July and August, it is hot and there is lots of sun. Many tourists prefer the sea in these months.
In autumn, especially in September and October, the temperatures change and the weather is cooler. It is a quiet time to travel. In winter, in December, January and February, it is cold and in the mountains there is often snow. Many Italians go skiing during this period. Which season do you prefer for your next trip to Italy?
