We are at the Porta Romana market in Milan and Maria is doing some shopping.
1. Marco: Buongiorno! Quanto costa il cappotto? (Good morning! How much does the coat cost?)
2. Venditore: Buongiorno! Costa settanta euro. È di lana. (Good morning! It costs seventy euros. It is wool.)
3. Marco: Mi piace molto, è fatto bene. (I like it a lot, it is well made.)
4. Venditore: Abbiamo anche dei cappelli di lana. Costano quindici euro ciascuno. (We also have wool hats. They cost fifteen euros each.)
5. Marco: Sono belli! Ma oggi non voglio spendere troppo. Se me li lascia entrambi a sessanta euro, li prendo subito. (They are nice! Today I don’t want to spend too much. If you leave them both to me for sixty euros, I’ll take them immediately.)
6. Venditore: Sessanta euro è poco, posso lasciarli a sessantacinque. (Sixty euros is little, I can leave them at sixty-five.)
7. Marco: Va bene, mi ha convinto! (All right, you convinced me!)
8. Venditore: Paga con carta o in contanti? (Do you pay by card or cash?)
9. Marco: In contanti, grazie. (Cash, thank you.)
10. Venditore: Ecco il resto. Grazie e arrivederci! (Here is the change. Thank you and goodbye!)
11. Marco: Arrivederci! (Goodbye!)
