Exercise 1: Word bingo

Instruction: 1. Listen minimum two times to the video and indicate the words you hear. 2. Use the words to form a conversation with your teacher (write down your conversation). 3. Memorize the words with the word trainer.

Exercise 2: Dialogue

Simone e Giulia vanno a pranzo in un ristornante la domenica e scelgono che cosa ordinare.

Simone and Giulia go to lunch at a restaurant on Sunday and decide what to order.
1. Cameriere: Buongiorno, avete prenotato? (Good morning, did you book?)
2. Giulia: Sì, abbiamo una prenotazione a nome Giulia, per due persone. (Yes, we have a reservation under the name Giulia, for two people.)
3. Cameriere: Perfetto, seguitemi. Ecco i menù. (Perfect, follow me. Here are the menus.)
4. Giulia: Grazie, siamo pronti per ordinare. (Thank you, we are ready to order.)
5. Cameriere: Perfetto, cosa gradite? (Perfect, what would you like?)
6. Giulia: Un antipasto della casa da dividere, per favore. Come primo, prendiamo i paccheri con crema di pistacchio. (We will have the house appetizer, please. As a first course, let's take the paccheri with pistachio cream.)
7. Cameriere: Ottima scelta! E come secondo? (Excellent choice! And for the second course?)
8. Giulia: Come secondo prendiamo le braciole di manzo con le patate, per favore. (As a second course, bring us the beef fillet with potatoes, please.)
9. Cameriere: Perfetto! Allora un antipasto della casa, due paccheri e due braciole, e da bere? (Alright, and to drink?)
10. Giulia: Per me un calice di vino bianco e per mio marito un'acqua gasata, grazie. (For me a glass of white wine and for my husband a bottle of water, thank you.)
11. Cameriere: A voi. Arrivo subito con le bevande. (Perfect, if you need anything else, I’m here.)
