The cultural center in my neighborhood offers many leisure activities. Right now we have a book club on Thursday afternoons. We read an easy book together and then discuss the story. Previously the club was only for students, but today it’s open to everyone: young people, adults and seniors. We have already read two short books this month.

On Saturday mornings there is a drawing and painting workshop. In class we use photos and famous paintings to practice. Participants listen to relaxing music while they paint. Afterwards the teacher photographs each drawing with their camera and uploads it to the center’s website. Tomorrow we will take new photos for a small exhibition at the entrance.
