Hablamos de los ingredientes para hacer un gazpacho natural. (We're talking about the ingredients to make a fresh gazpacho.)

¿A cuánto está el tomate rosa? (How much is the pink tomato?)
El tomate rosa cuesta 2 euros el kilo y es el que más se vende. (The pink tomato costs €2 per kilo and it's the best-selling one.)
Calculamos que necesitamos un kilo de tomate para hacer el gazpacho. (We estimate we'll need one kilo of tomatoes to make the gazpacho.)
Después, añadimos pepino, cebolla y pimiento verde. (Then we add cucumber, onion and green pepper.)
El pepino cuesta 1,80 euros el kilo y la cebolla está a 2 euros el kilo. (Cucumber costs €1.80 per kilo and onion is €2 per kilo.)
Con un pepino, un pimiento verde y media cebolla es suficiente. (One cucumber, one green pepper and half an onion are enough.)
Hemos sumado y sale por unos 3,27 euros. (We added it up and it comes to about €3.27.)
Con eso preparamos alrededor de un litro de gazpacho. (With that we can make around one litre of gazpacho.)

Exercise 2: Dialogue

Instruction: Read the dialogue and answer the questions.

Pedro va al mercado para comprar verduras para hacer el gazpacho.

Pedro goes to the market to buy vegetables to make gazpacho.
1. Pedro : ¡Buenos días! ¿A cuánto están los tomates? (Good morning! How much are the tomatoes?)
2. Vendedora : ¡Buenos días! Los tomates están a dos euros el kilo. (Good morning! The tomatoes are two euros per kilo.)
3. Pedro : Vale. Quiero un kilo de tomates, por favor. ¿Cuánto cuestan tres pepinos? (Okay. I want one kilo of tomatoes, please. How much do three cucumbers cost?)
4. Vendedora : El pepino está a un euro con ochenta el kilo. Tres pepinos cuestan dos euros con cincuenta. (The cucumber is one euro eighty per kilo. Three cucumbers cost two euros fifty.)
5. Pedro : Perfecto. También necesito cuatro cebollas. (Perfect. I also need four onions.)
6. Vendedora : Vale, eso es un kilo. La cebolla cuesta dos euros el kilo. (Okay, that's one kilo. The onion costs two euros per kilo.)
7. Pedro : Y cinco pimientos verdes, ¿cuánto cuestan? (And five green peppers, how much do they cost?)
8. Vendedora : El pimiento está a uno con cincuenta el kilo. Cinco pimientos son dos kilos. (The pepper is one fifty per kilo. Five peppers are two kilos.)
9. Pedro : Perfecto. En total tengo: un kilo de tomates, tres pepinos, cuatro cebollas y cinco pimientos verdes. ¿Cuánto es en total? (Perfect. In total I have: one kilo of tomatoes, three cucumbers, four onions, and five green peppers. How much is it in total?)
10. Vendedora : Vamos a sumar: dos euros, más dos con cincuenta, más dos, más tres, son nueve euros con cincuenta. (Let's add: two euros, plus two fifty, plus two, plus three, are nine euros fifty.)
11. Pedro : Aquí tiene diez euros. (Here you have ten euros.)
