Correos is the main postal service company in Spain; among other services, it is also possible to send digital letters.

Exercise 1: Listening comprehension

Con la carta digital de Correos, puedes enviar un mensaje personal sin salir de casa. (With Correos' digital letter, you can send a personal message without leaving home.)
Primero, eliges el tipo de carta que quieres enviar. (First, choose the type of letter you want to send.)
Después, subes el documento o escribes el texto que quieres enviar. (Next, upload the document or type the message you want to send.)
Escribes los datos de la persona a quien va dirigida: el número de teléfono y el correo electrónico. (Enter the recipient's details: their phone number and email address.)
También escribes la dirección: la ciudad, la calle, el número y el código postal. (Also enter the address: city, street, building number and postal code.)
Luego, ves un resumen con toda la información del envío. (Then you’ll see a summary with all the delivery information.)
Compruebas que esté todo correcto y haces el pago. (Check that everything is correct and complete the payment.)
Después de pagar, recibes un mensaje de confirmación. (After paying, you will receive a confirmation message.)
Puedes imprimir el comprobante, enviarlo por email o guardar el código que te dan. ¡Y ya está! (You can print the receipt, email it to yourself, or save the code they give you. And that’s it!)

Exercise 2: Dialogue

Instruction: Read the dialogue and answer the questions.

María ayuda a su padre a enviar una carta digital.

1. Padre: ¡María! Quiero enviar una carta digital para el cumpleaños de mi amigo, pero no sé cómo hacerlo. (María! I want to send a digital card for my friend’s birthday, but I don’t know how to do it.)
2. María: Tranquilo, es muy fácil. Primero, tienes que elegir el tipo de carta y escribir el texto. (Don’t worry, Dad, it’s very easy. First, you have to choose the type of card and write the text.)
3. Padre: Ya está. (Done.)
4. María: Ahora, pon el número de teléfono y el correo electrónico de tu amigo. (Now, enter your friend’s phone number and email address.)
5. Padre: Vale, ahora tengo que añadir la dirección. (Okay, now I have to add the address.)
6. María: Falta el código postal. (The postal code is missing.)
7. Padre: Ah, claro, es 97360. (Oh, right, it’s 97360.)
8. María: Perfecto, aquí tienes un resumen con los datos del envío. Míralo bien y luego haces el pago. (Perfect, here is a summary of the delivery details. Check them carefully and then make the payment.)
9. Padre: Listo. (Done.)
